Book Review: Wolverine: Inside the World of the Living Weapon

Wolverine: Inside the World of the Living Weapon

Here's the 200-page hardcover guide into one of the world's most popular mutants, Wolverine. This book really stands out visually. Not only is the cover red, the edges of the pages are also red.

I used to watch the classic X-men animation on TV, and even back then I was intrigued by Wolverine. His abilities are really cool, and his back stories are fascinating as well.

The pages are filled to the brim with all sorts of information on Wolverine, like his origin, career, ability, lesser known facts, quotes, nemesis, love interest and all the different places he appears in his own comics and others. It's a engaging read into the legendary character.

As with most DK books, this book is also loaded with beautiful art from the comics. There are all styles of Wolverine you can look at, him with his different costumes, outfits or without, as drawn by different top artists.

This is the best compilation and writeup on Wolverine, certainly the ultimate guide to the ultimate weapon.

I like Wolverine but I think

I like Wolverine but I think he has the problem, many characters have. He is used just way to often. If he would be just in X-Force it would be great but in the past decades he was everywhere. Same with other characters. Also the different relationships are very annoying. Sex & Violence as the last one with Wolverine and Domino was cool though but still it`s not cool if a character has thousands of relationships like James Bond. Mostly because it doesn`t have a really influence on the character and woman are often just objects without a own will.

Wolverine stays one of my favorite Marvel character`s but I think it would be cool if they would let him go on a journey and stop using him for... I don`t know 5 or 10 years or at least stop to throw him in every series (Deadpool has the same problem and I am sure many others).

Okay I reeeeeally strayed from the subject here.^^ Thanks for reviewing the artbook, this seems to be very good and fits to the character.
