Review: Sabrent 252W 8-port USB charger
Review unit provided by Sabrent
This is the 252W 8-port USB PD 3.0 charger. Retail price at the time of review is USD 90, available through Sabrent online store and Amazon USA. This charger probably came out a long time ago as Amazon has over 10,000 reviews for this, and the average rating is 4.7 stars.

Included in the box is the charger, power cable and user guide. There's no charging cable included.
The LCD display shows the power output for each port. There's a function button that can be used to reverse the display's orientation, and to view other info such as voltage, temperature, charging time.

The charger is quite big but not too big. The rubber feet underneath has good grip on the table.

The charger has four USB-C ports and four USB-A ports.
I highly recommend studying the user guide, more specifically the power distribution chart, to know the power output for the ports.
The basics you should know are:
- Each USB-C port can output a maximum of 100W
- Each horizontal pair of USB-C ports can output a total of 125W
- Each USB-A port can output a maximum of 18W
- Each horizontal pair of USB-A ports can output a total of 36W
Since you can connect up to eight devices, the power output is divided and distributed. How much power output each port gets depends on which ports are in use.
The charger supports Samsung charging protocol that supports 45W charging with supported devices.

The main selling point for this charger is the 100W output for each USB-C port, and total power output of 252W for all ports. This charger can be used to charge laptops and many other devices at the same time.

Another key selling feature is the charger does not produce much heat. The charger gets warm but does not get as hot compared to other GaN chargers I have.
This is a charger that does what it's advertised to do. It looks good and works well. Pricing is reasonable so it provides good value for money.
