Review: Gravastar Delta35 GaN charger

Review sample provided by Gravastar

Gravastar, a company known for their mecha-inspired tech accessories, has just released the Gravastar Delta35, a 35W GaN charger. The price is USD 29.95.This is the new member to the mecha family. The earlier one I reviewed was the Gravastar Alpha65 and there are also the wireless mecha speakers too.

The charger only comes with double flat pins so an adapter is needed if you can't use those.

This charger is best used with power sockets on tables so that the mecha can look at you. If you plug this to a wall socket, it will lose its appeal and the selling point to display it.

The two USB-C ports can provide a total of 35W. If you connect two devices, each will get 12W.

Here are the specs:

  • Weight: 0.21lbs / 98g
  • Dimension: 1.96 x 3.14 x 2.83 inch / 50 × 80 × 72mm
  • Ports:2 USB-C ports
  • Supported Protocols: QC2.0、QC3.0、QC3+、PD3.0、PPS、Apple2.4、BC1.2、AFC、FCP/HV SCP
  • Real-time Indicator Display: The ice-white color blinks for the first 5 minutes of charging and then remains on when the charger is connected to power
  • Single Port Output:
    USB-C1 (35W MAX): 5V/9V⎓3A,/3A, 12V⎓2.75A, 15V⎓2.33A, 20V⎓1.75A, PPS3.3V-11V⎓3A
    USB-C2 (35W MAX): 5V/9V⎓3A,/3A, 12V⎓2.75A, 15V⎓2.33A, 20V⎓1.75A, PPS3.3V-11V⎓3A
  • Dual Port Output:
    USB-C1 (12W): 5V⎓2.4A
    USB-C2 (12W): 5V⎓2.4A
  • Warranty: 12 Months

The arms and the antenna can be adjusted. The eyes will light up when the charger is connected to power.

The one downside is this charger doesn't work with those interchangeable travel adapters.

This is definitely a good looking charger. i'm hoping the company comes up with more design in the future.

The Gravastar Delta35 can be purchased from Gravastar online store. Shipping starts on 20 October 2023. During the pre-order period which is now until that date, you can get a free 100W charger.
