Here's the review for the zipped pen case from Galen Leather called the Magnum Opus.
This is one of two pen cases I received from the company and I've already reviewed the flap pen case here.
Both pen cases are excellent so it's difficult to decide which is the better one.

These are more expensive than the flap pen cases and the design looks better in my opinion, but that's just me.

The leather is 100% vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather. The pen cases are hand-stitched using waxed polyamide thread. The edges are beveled, waxed, and burnished for a finished look.
You can only smell the leather, authentic leather, when your nose is next to it.
The case is advertised as one that can stand but in reality the case is too heavy to stand.
The stretchable band behind was not able to keep the pen case in standing position.
The zipped side area is clothed and stitched to the leather.
The interior has soft felt surface.
The removable hard tray also uses the same soft felt surface. The case can fit pens up to about 16 cm long and 1.55 cm in barrel diameter.
There's a magnet on the flat which can keep the case open completely. This allows you to switch pens easily without having to open the flap repeatedly.
This is a very well made pen case which looks durable too. Unlike the flap case which has gaps on the side, this one provides full protection for the pens.
I can definitely recommend this easily if you have the budget.
