The Visual Dictionary completes the artbook for The Last Jedi very well. In The Last Jedi artbook, we have the concept art and there is not a lot on character design. In this Visual Dictionary, we have the finalised designs and lots of character pictures and profiles. And should you require even more details, especially on the spaceships and vehicles, there’s the book on the cross sections.
In typical DK book style, all the pictures and information are nicely laid out. The high resolution photos are great for checking out the costume designs, weapons and props. The descriptions provide additional insight that may not be obvious in the film. It’s a good read and a fantastic recap at all the characters and props that appeared in the film. This book has more information about the Star Wars universe that’s related to the film while the Art-Of book has more behind the scenes information.
All the three visual books on Star Wars are most definitely worth the money. Highly recommended to the fans.
