Book Review: Star Wars The Last Jedi Incredible Cross-Sections

Star Wars The Last Jedi Incredible Cross-Sections - 01

Star Wars and artist Kemp Remillard are back with another Star Wars cross-section book. It's in the same large 48-page hardcover format as all the earlier cross-section books.

This companion book for Star Wars: The Last Jedi features 16 spaceships and vehicles. namely:

  1. The Raddus
  2. Resistance Capital Ships
  3. Resistance Bomber
  4. A-wing
  5. Resistance Craft*
  6. The Supremacy
  7. The Silencer
  8. First Order Craft*
  9. Canto Bight Police Speeder
  10. Canto Bight Speeders*
  11. The Libertine
  12. AT-HH
  13. AT-M6
  14. First Order Walkers*
  15. Resistance Shuttle
  16. Ski Speeder

Those that I've marked with an * are drawings of exterior and those without * are cross-sections.

Each piece of artwork is an intricate infographic that looks at the different parts of the spaceships and vehicles. There are labels for important parts, data files or spec sheets, and description for certain features. The amount of details in the work is amazing. Kemp Remillard's technique is impeccable.

All the drawings are reproduced huge so you can really admire the details slowly.

It goes without saying that Star Wars fans will probably love this book.
