Book Review: National Geographic Night Vision: Magical Photographs of Life After Dark
When you have a photography book from National Geographic, you know that it's going to be good.
Night Vision is a 400-page hardcover that features some really beautiful images captured at night. It's interesting to see the play of light and the darkness of the night as captured by the photographers. Not all are from National Geographic commissioned photographers though. A few are curated from Getty Images.
I love the mood of the photographs. There is this mysterious calmness associated with some of them. The subjects captured are of moonlit landscapes, night life in cities and towns, animals at night and more.
This is a beautiful photography book for those who admire the beauty of our world at night. There are other series of photography books from National Geographic too, and they are all quite favourably reviewed on Amazon.
