Dongho Kim is an artist from South Korea. If you like Kim Jung Gi's style of sketching, I'm sure you'll love his art too.
This 136-page hardcover artbook is filled with detailed urban sketchers, often with rather impressive use of perspective, e.g. panoramic, fish-eye and top down. The sketches are mostly drawn with pen or brush pen, coloured with greys or black, or with minimal colour. The highlight is the amount of details and the perspective or composition used. Dongho Kim has a way that makes you feel like you're looking at what he's looking at through his art. Maybe that's because uses the first-person view with his hand and pen in the sketch as well.
There's a lot of life and texture in his art. The strong use of blacks reminds me of manga-style drawing but his style is definitely more than that. Each sketch would invite you into the scene to look around, to just explore.
If you like sketchbooks, this is a marvellous one to get. The paper used here is matte and binding is excellent. Apparently this is the second volume. The first volume seems to be out of print.
