Tin box can fit up to 12
This is the cheapest option if you already have a metal palette box. This is just for safe transporting of the pans.

12 half pan metal box
The empty space in the middle can store a Rosemary pocket brush or a size 6 Da Vinci pocket brush. Size 6 Escoda travel brush will not fit -- it's too long.

18 half pan metal box
This is actually the 12 half pan box but with 18 pans fitted.

24 pan metal box
The empty space in the middle can store a size 8 Escoda pocket brush together with a size 6 Da Vinci pocket brush.

24 pan plastic box
The brush holder at the top can hold a Rosemary pocket brush, size 6 Da Vinci pocket brush or size 8 Escoda pocket brush. If you remove the pans, you can store size 10 Escoda or Da Vinci pocket brushes in the main compartment. This box can hold a mix of half (24 total) and full (12 total) pans.

The plastic box can be chosen to replace the 12-half pan box, BUT it's not sold separately. To buy it separately, buy it at Taobao.com. Main reason why I'm not selling separately is because it's expensive to ship as an individual item.

48 pan metal box
The empty space in the middle can only store Rosemary pocket brush. Da Vinci and Escoda pocket brushes cannot fit.

Returning customer here...I would like to buy 9 full pans, with the 3 free half pans as well. These all fit into the 12 pan case you sent me, and down the middle...3 full pans down horizontally, each track...middle included....with 3 half pans...one at each end of the three rows....so that equals 12 different colours...9 full pans and 3 half pans, that are for free....would this cost the same as my set I got before with 18 colours? + shipping to Canada? I understand your layout but unfortunately the boxes that I have now are not able to fit the full pans in the middle row.

The configuration to hold as many pans right now is
Row 1: 3x full pans + 1x half pan
Row 2: 6 half pans
Row 3: 3x full pans + 1x half pan

So the maximum number of colours you can order will be 6x full pans and 5x half pans (plus another 3x random colours from me). The total price will be US $71.

I’m very interested to help you out, but i’m still not sure if I will be able to afford that 12 half pan set in metal box. I’ll be sure to check again after I pay my school fees in early August. It was from the Chinese website Taobao. Not easy for me to find because I'm not good at reading Chinese, and because there seems to be only one seller selling it. Took around 2 months to ship because I mis-read some shipping instructions and created a long delay.

Is this still available? I have been watching your limited palette and cmyk vs yrb, I would like to put together a palette with 6 full pans that will be my primary mixing for warm and cool tones and then 12 half pans with tertiary colors that are fun or harder to mix. I have some paints but not a cohesive palette. Can I chose my colors, but you check them and if you see any holes in my palette you can make some recommendations? I love your teaching style, it is so informative yet kind and your art. Thank you for sharing!
