Book Review: Miniature Worlds: Files of Illustrators Who Draw Small Fantasy Worlds
Explore imaginative encapsulated worlds
Miniature Worlds: Files of Illustrators Who Draw Small Fantasy Worlds is a 176-page paperback artbook published by PIE books. Size of the book is slightly larger than A5. Paper used is low gloss, binding is good.
It features illustrations of diorama-like buildings and spaces imagined by artists over the world. I even saw work from my friend William Sim (Merchant of Happiness).
You'll love this book if you like looking at hand drawn interior design, concept art of interiors, houses, diorama. It is incredibly fun to look at the rooms, houses and interiors created. And since there are so many artists featured, there are so many styles to see.
The artworks are so beautiful and many are really detailed. It's quite inspiring too if you like to create similar artworks.
There are some captions but not much, with text in Japanese and English. Each artist also has their contact information and website listed when available.
