Review: Pilot Iroshizuku Ajisai, Hydrangea, Blue Purple Ink

Pilot Iroshizuku Ajisai, Hydrangea, Blue Purple Ink - 01

Pilot Iroshizuku Ajisai fountain pen ink is a blue purple ink inspired by Hydrangea, a flower that's native southern and eastern Asia (China, Japan, Korea, the Himalayas, and Indonesia) and the Americas.

As a blue ink, I feel that it's a bit off with a tint of purple. It has good contrast against paper.

For writing and drawing purposes, this ink performs well. There's an attractive sheen, a gradation of colour, to the strokes.
