It's a 128-page paperback with cover that has a nice velvet(?) touch. Although it didn't say on the book title, this is actually one of the three art books for season 1. This volume only covers the first two, out of the 26, episodes. What you'll see is pretty much the concept art that helped create the world of Wakfu.
The book features the animation boards, storyboards, sketches, character designs and animation stills. The animation is created using Flash and traditional techniques, and you can see throughout the clean lines and bright colours. The designs are beautiful and have great form factor. I like particularly the drawings for the locations and houses. They have a good RPG vibe. I don't know if the designs are reused in the game itself though. There's no official Wakfu game art book as far as I can tell.
All the illustrations have commentary from the staff, and it's written in both French and English. You'll be able to read stuff like how they design for animation so that things can be animated easily, like clothing is hard to animate so there are always fewer parts. If you've watched the animation series, you can probably relate better.
This is a very nice book book for animation and art lovers, and of course Wakfu fans.
