Review: Caudabe Sheath and Paragon cases for S26 Ultra

Caudabe has just updated their Sheath, Paragon and Synthesis phone cases for the Samsung S26 Ultra. Prices are USD 52, 55 and 50 respectively. Unfortunately I do not have the Synthesis for review.

If you have not used Caudabe phone cases before, you just have to know they are well made and durable, with good drop protection. The main highlight for me would be the Sheath with the sandstone texture. All cases have MagSafe compatibility.

There are some downsides or limitations though. Main ones would be they cases are thick (for protection) and hence will make the phones more bulky. And the cases are made for the S26 Ultra, but not the small S26 and S26+.

Sheath

Caudabe Sheath is my favourite of all the phone cases from this company. The sandstone texture just feels so nice in hand. The texture also provides good grip.

Colours available are black, gray and navy blue.

Fitting of the cases is perfect. Cutouts are precise.

Samsung doubled down on the camera bump with the S26 Ultra so the phone case is no longer completely flat like the one made for the previous model. There are cutouts for each camera, and this will prevent dust from getting in. Camera protection looks good.

Those buttons by the side have firm clicks, and you can buy coloured buttons separately to customise the look of the phone case slightly.

Paragon

Caudabe Paragon case is for those who prefer a cleaner and simpler design. The back is smooth matte textured.

Colours available are black, purple and orange.

The edges of Sheath and Paragon are raised above the glass, and there's allowance for a glass screen protector.

Compared to the Sheath, the corners of the Paragon are raised slightly higher.

Paragon has rougher sides with grooves for extra grip.

MagSafe compatibility

The phone cases support MagSafe accessories.

Thumb grips can be used and the magnet is strong.

MagSafe tripods can be used too.

The phone cases support MagSafe wireless charging, but because the camera bump is quite close to the MagSafe ring, the camera bump may prevent wireless chargers from getting a good placement.

Samsung is probably to blame here since the camera module is long and vertical.

I use my phones with lanyard and it is possible to place a lanyard attachment between the phone and case. This will affect the fitting slightly, but that's the compromise of using a lanyard with this case.

Conclusion

Caudabe make great cases. Go online and search for reviews and you'll see that people like them for good reason.
