Review: AULA F75 wireless mechanical keyboard

Review unit provided by AULA

The AULA F75 is a wireless mechanical keyboard that can be found for around USD 50 on AliExpress (Seller A | B | C | D)

This is probably the cheapest 75% mechanical keyboard I've reviewed as of 2025. And the typing experience, with the Leobog Reaper Axis switch, is superb so this is possibly the best value wireless mechanical keyboard I've reviewed.

Design

The keyboard is available in four colours: Glacier Blue, Cedar Green, Thunder Black and Sea Salt Blue.

Design looks good, actually quite similar to the 75% keyboards from other companies. Build quality is good enough although the body will flex if you flex it.

The back has fold-out feet with two height options and rubber feet.

Keyboard supports connection for cable, 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth (up to three devices). Keyboard shortcuts can be used to switch between different connections.

The 75% keyboard layout has 80 keys.

Location of the Delete key really throws me off. Delete key should be on the Function row, at the right.

The dial has Gaming and Office mode. Gaming mode allows you to use the dial to change RGB light pattern and brightness. Office mode lets you adjust volume.

Function key is located on the right of the space bar, and the right-Ctrl is by the right of the Function key.

DEAL BREAKER FOR MAC
The right-Ctrl in Windows mode is also right-Ctrl in Mac mode. There's no right-Cmd for MacOS which means you cannot use keyboard shortcuts on the right side of the keyboard that uses the right-Cmd key.

That's a major deal breaker for Mac users because it means you won't be able to use right-Cmd & + or - for zoom, right-Cmd+O to open.

In other words, this keyboard is best used with Windows.

The specs for the Leobog Reaper Axis:

  • Type: linear
  • Conduction pressure: 45gf
  • Conduction stroke: 1.8mm
  • Bottom pressure: 55gf
  • Total stroke: 3.6mm

The keyboard uses left-spring gasket structure with an integrated silicone pad for stability and comfortable typing. The thic-thoc typing sounds wonderful. I am incredibly impressed that a USD 50 keyboard can sound so good, and it also feels great when typing. This keyboard is worth the money just for the sound and the feel.

The RGB lights looks good. Keyboard shortcuts can be used to change different lighting patterns, adjust light animation speed or brightness.

You can learn all the keyboard shortcuts from the user manual.

Battery capacity is 4000 mAh. Battery life is advertised to be 266 hours without lights and 17.5 hours with lights. That's pretty similar to many other keyboards with 4000 mAh battery capacity that I've tested.

Conclusion

This is a great keyboard for Windows users, and it's selling at a very attractive price.

Downsides would be where the Delete key is, and Mac keyboard layout without a right-Cmd is an instant deal breaker.

Availability

The AULA F75 keyboard is available on AliExpress (Seller A | B | C | D) and other sellers, e.g. Epomaker.
