Book Review: Arabic Folktales for Children: Timeless Stories to Share in English and Arabic
Arabic Folktales for Children is a collection of eight folktales presented in both English and Arabic text, and there's even free audio for the stories which you can access online. The book's a large hardcover with 48 pages and is published by Tuttle Publishing.
The stories are retold by Hadil Ghoneim with beautiful illustrations by Ayah Khamis. The stories are fun, interesting and suitable for children ages 5 to 11. There are also little bits of wisdom or lessons that kids can learn through the stories. I like the stories and I wish there were even more stories.
