Review: Chiara Di Francia sketchbook vol 2

Chiara Di Francia is an Italian illustrator and comic artist who started her career in 2010. Some companies she has worked for includes Hachette Livre, Sigil Entertainment Group, Kymera Press, Maverick Arts, and Arancia Studio.

Almost 10 years ago, I featured her book Drawing Recipes (Drawing Recipes Collection) (Volume 1).

She has recently launched her Sketchbook Vol 2, a 52-page paperback published in August 2026, and she has shared with me some images to show you guys.

The sketchbook features preliminary studies, concept art, maps, and illustrations for editorial projects, role-playing games, and independent productions, with a particular focus on fantasy, horror and tabletop RPG projects.

Much of the material comes from her Patreon archive, now conveniently packaged into a book.
