Book Review: Territory 11
Territory 11 is an interesting graphic and illustration art book put out by BigBros Workshop. It's a large cardboard cover book with an exposed book spine. On the cover are cutouts of graphic dogs. 136 pages in total.
It features 16 artists and designers based around the world, from a wide diversity of background. There are different style of art ranging from illustrative, lowbrow, publishing, collages, advertising to even installation art. The variety of work is really wide, all stylish and attractive.
Each artist has an interview with talks about the work they do, the challenges and their inspiration.
This book also comes with a CD but unfortunately only 2 of the 16 artists are featured. One of them actually worked on the opening title sequence to the movie Catch Me if You Can.
It's a wonderful book for some inspiration.
The list of artists featured are:
- Timothy Hon Hung Lee
- Yoko Furusho
- Ronald Kurniawan
- Yayawoo
- Kawakong
- Mr Losef
- Frederique Daubal
- Buro UFHO
- Miika Saksi
- Jasper Goodall
- Kuntzel and Deygas
- David O Reilly

That's the included CD.

Territory! Probably should
Territory! Probably should have mention that Territory is actually a magazine and each issue has different artists and covers. Interesting magazine, good for inspirations!
