Unless you're creating really complicated graphic art, i5 should be sufficient. Things like web design, page layout, digital painting are all fine. However when you run processor intensive stuff, e.g some filters like liquify in Photoshop, or use the watercolour brush in Painter, then you will be able to feel the difference more because those effects need time to process before they complete. Other than those occasions when you use them, you won't feel the speed difference.
If you're doing more video work, get the i7. 23% improvement is almost a quarter savings of time. 1 minute of render with the i5 will just take slightly over 45s.
