This book was originally

This book was originally published in 1930, and it was called "Drawing in Pen & Ink" (now collector's editions). The examples aren't drawn in quill pen, they are all drawn in dip pen, with Gillott nibs (usually 303 or 404). I prefer a Tachikawa G nib, used by manga artists. You can simulate the effects with a brush pen (sign pen), but it's kind of annoying to draw with a brush. It's pure delight to draw with a nib pen... it's hard to describe if you haven't experienced it, but luckily they're pretty cheap. Nibs are only $3, or less!
