Do you think the author will offer this book on "book on demand" so I get a chance to buy it one of these days? I also know some people I'd like to give it to as a present.
I agree a diary like this is better than taking a bunch of pictures. I used to take pictures like mad when I was on vacations but I needed to write comments under them in the album to remember what they show. When I sketch or paint something I remember it forever and recognize the same scenery when I see it somewhere else (TV, pictures etc.).
