I use a V600 which only scans 8 1/2 x 11 inches. You just need to make multiple, overlapping scans and use Photomerge in Photoshop to stitch them together seamlessly in less than a minute. I have done as large as a 24 x 30 this way. The cover lifts off so there is really no limit to the size you can scan.
