Online purchases don't require that password pin, only the 16 digit card number and that 3 digit code on the back of the card. That is why it's dangerous to lose a credit card because anyone can then make online purchases with that card.
Again, your card is only charged after the item is shipped. But they will of course check to make sure first that your card has money in the first place.
When your item is shipped, you'll get an email from Amazon saying so. I think that's the email you should forward to vPost. Then vPost should reply you with their shipping charges. You then pay them on their website, possibly using credit card again (can't remember). So if you don't pay vPost, then your item will be stay in US waiting until you finish the payment.
