The pigment selection in this

The pigment selection in this set offers a poor color gamut. Although the pigments included here on their own are fine, for a limited number of pigments they aren't well-chosen as a group.

Here is what Kremer should have offered:

1. bismuth lemon PY 184 or cadmium lemon PY 35
2. PY 139, or PY 109, or PY 110
3. cadmium orange PO 20
4. anthra scarlet PR 168
5. cadmium red medium PR 108 or pyrrol red PR 254
6. quin magenta/lilac PR 122
7. cobalt violet light PV 49
8. cobalt blue deep PB 74 or ultramarine PB 28
9. phthalo blue RS PB 15:6
10. cobalt blue PB 28 (not the turquoise type; the regular blue)
11. genuine manganese blue PB 33 (Kremer is a chemist. He can make it safely. Nothing is as vivid in this hue.)
12. phthalo green GB PG 7
13. phthalo green YS PG 36
14. viridian PG 18

Now that is a 14-pigment set that has mileage.
