That's exactly what it is. it was actually published in hardcover form as "Monograph". For some reason, it was re-published in softcover form as some kind of instuctional figure drawing book.
I have to disagree about the figures being stiff and static. I think they're actually well gestured and quite kinetic for the most part. Also, some of Fabry's notes are pretty insightful.
