Now that you mention it, I went back to test for it and indeed there's slight misalignment when my other hand is holding the side or back. But I could barely notice that it's there and it has never affected my drawing.
The Apple Pencil is definitely more accurate.
When you're buying the iPad Pro, you've getting into the iOS system and that has its own limitations. File management on iOS is incredibly frustrating.
My recommendation from the review still stands. If you already have a computer, the iPad Pro is a better purchase despite its limitations. But if you don't already have a computer, the Surface Pro is a better purchase, again despite its limitations.
So ultimately, it has to come down to what you're using the device for. If you want to get the best possible portable drawing device, between iPad Pro and Surface Pro, the iPad Pro is better. But not everyone use their iPads for drawing. Some may want to install desktop software, use Excel, upload photos to their blog and occasionally draw.
