BooksActually, the indie bookstore in Singapore, is raising funds to pay rent for their shop at Yong Siak Street.
Their rent is SGD$8000 per month in the sleepy neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru. Rent in Singapore is killing businesses. It's crazy. Soon, such physical shops will no longer be around.
