Wonderful stuff all wrapped up in a neat landscape size book. Didn't a lot of these ideas whiz round the internet as Redneck hi-tech over the years? Certainly a user friendly book because in the front there is a page explaining the Kludge-O-Meter, five symbols that appear with each photo and it thoughtfully includes one called Epic Kludge, which translated into lawyer speak means DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.

The McMeel publishing folk always turn out good looking titles and here the presentation is particularly suitable to the subject with the photos mounted on paper, wood, bits of cardboard and held in place with staples, rivets and a ton of duct and masking tape.

Hey! They forgot to plug the FREE pages on the front cover. At the back of the book there are five blank ones where you can add your own `I Fixed It!' ideas and stick them in with your adhesive of choice.

At the back of the book there are five blank pages so you can enter your wacky solutions to modern living. This is one case of 'There I Fixed It! No, you didn't' because they forgot to put a heading on these pages to tell you what to do with them.

My copy had an extra bit of paper and in the traditions of 'There I Fixed It!' it was folded over until it just missed the trimming blade at the binders.
