Review: Alldocube Ultra Pad 2025
Review unit provided by Alldocube
The Alldocube Ultra Pad is a 13-inch Android 15 tablet released in September 2025 with an attractive launch price of USD 299. You can think of this as the bigger brother of the Alldocube iPlay 70 mini Ultra released in April 2025.
Bottom line
The Alldocube Ultra Pad is a well made tablet with good build quality. Display is bright, vibrant and sharp. Performance is responsive and smooth thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 12GB RAM and 144Hz refresh rate. Audio quality is decent.
Battery capacity of 15,000 mAh provides at least 2 days of use.
Downsides are mostly from Alldocube OS. And the biggest downside to me is the lack of UI scaling options that prevent certain apps and webpages to showing more content than what the 2880 x 1840 resolution is capable of showing. Another downside is there's no face and fingerprint unlock.
This tablet is great for multimedia use, watching videos and gaming.
The pricing of USD 299 is incredible for the hardware and experience you're getting.

Design
Design of the tablet looks good. Corners for the body and LCD are rounded off. Bezels are quite thin. There's a 5MP landscape camera with auto-brightness that works well. This tablet unfortunately has no fingerprint or face unlock so typing the pin to unlock each time is inconvenient.
Back of the tablet is matte textured metal. Overall build quality is solid. The camera is 13MP and comes with a flash.
Those are the pogo pin connectors for the optional keyboard case.
The USB-C port supports 33W charging, has transfer speed of USB 3.1 gen 2 and supports video output but only in mirror mode.
There are 8 speakers and the audio sounds decent, not as good compared to more expensive tablets but good for a budget tablet. There's decent clarity and stereo. Downsides. Treble can be a bit sharp and bass is lacking. But as least the audio does not sound hollow.
The companion pen can attach magnetically to the side of the tablet. And the microSD card slot is on the same side. The tablet does not have cellular support.
7.6mm is quite thick for a tablet but at least the volume is used to pack in a huge 15,000 mAh battery with almost 2-days battery life.
Display
The IPS LCD is bright, vibrant and sharp. Quality is good, better than expected giving the price point. Colours look good out of the box.
The display already comes with a screen protector applied. Viewing angles are quite good with minimal colour shift and drop in brightness.
Display resolution is 2880 x 1840 with an aspect ratio of almost 16:10. Maximum and minimum brightness are advertised to be 700 and 600 nits. Refresh rate is 144Hz.
Performance
Overall performance feels fast and smooth thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 12GB RAM and 144Hz refresh rate.
Download speed can be up to 900 Mbps (112.5 MBps) which is comparable to the Apple M4 iPad Pro. Apps can launch quick and webpages download fast.
I was able to get Medium (3 out of 5) graphics settings with Genshin Impact. Visual quality is decent and gameplay animation is smooth, lag-free.
There's Widevine L1 for 1080P video streaming from streaming websites.
OS and software
The tablet runs on Android 15 and comes with Google Play Store. There's no bloatware installed.
Alldocube has their own OS 4.1 running on top of Android 15.
The main downside of this tablet is actually the OS and the lack of features.
Refresh rate is either 60Hz, 120Hz or 144Hz.
UI scaling is limited. While the tablet resolution is quite high at 2880 x 1840, the UI scaling is unable to show more content as everything looks too zoomed in. For example, a 13-inch iPad Pro with almost the same width can show one more column when displaying the same webpage.
Viewing vertical webpages in desktop mode looks like enlarged phone layouts.
You can go into Wallpaper and Personalization, Font and display, to adjust the size of text and UI to see how webpages look.
Alldocube OS can rotate vertical apps but the presentation will not look correct. You have to disable "Landscape Display" under the Featured Functions section.
App switcher does not have grid view.
There's a lot of space for the dock but it can only hold six apps and only one recent app.
Split Screen Mode under Featured Functions should be disabled because the two-finger swipe down interferes with normal two-finger pan.
Things I like. The sidebar feature is quite useful and can open apps as floating windows, quite useful for vertical apps.
Writing and drawing experience
The optional Alldocube pen uses USI tech so don't expect terrific pen performance. There are two side buttons and whether they are customisable will depend on the app used.
The pen has a battery that can be charged with the hidden USB-C port that's revealed by pulling the end cap.
Pressure sensitivity works but the pen is not that accurate at detecting minor changes in pressure. There's diagonal line wobble and jitter, and it's difficult maintaining consistent line width. Drawing experience is not good.
Writing experience is alright. My handwriting can still be captured quite accurately. Latency is not a big issue.
Palm rejection does not work well and performance varies depending on the app used.
Battery life
2-days battery life easily. And thank goodness charging speed if fast enough at 33W.
Conclusion
The Alldocube Ultra Pad provides pretty good hardware for just USD 299. The company has packed as much as they could into the tablet and you can tell.
The main downside comes from the inconvenience due to the lack of software features. There are no deal breakers though.
So if you're looking for a great multimedia tablet, this is a tablet that's worth considering.
