The Dell UP2178Q seems to work fine with the Mac I was using. I never had any other problems with other Dell monitors on my Mac before... although I've read many instances of Dell saying that their monitors do no support Mac.
All the monitor features are available, those that you can choose from the monitor menu settings.
As for 10-bit support, you will need a graphics card and software that can support it. If you're thinking of getting it for video or photography editing, you can save a lot of money by just getting a AdobeRGB screen instead of this HDR screen. The selling point of this monitor is really the HDR feature and if you're not going to use that often, it's best to get an AdobeRGB screen instead.
