XPPen released Artist Pro 14 and Deco Pro (gen 2) with 16K pressure sensitivity

Update 19 July 2023: Reviews for XPPen Artist Pro 14 (gen 2) and ACK05 shortcut remote are up.

-

XPPen has just released the XPPen Artist Pro 14 (gen 2) pen display and Deco Pro (gen 2) pen tablet, the world's first two products for digital artists that feature support for 16,384 (16K) levels of pressure sensitivity.

XPPen Artist Pro 14 (gen 2)

The Artist Pro 14 pen display will use the new X3 Pro Smart Chip Stylus that supports 3g initial activation force. The display is a 14-inch IPS LCD with colour support for 99% sRGB, 85% AdobeRGB and 250 nits brightness. Resolution is 1920 x 1200. This is probably the first 16:10 aspect ratio display from XPPen if I am not wrong.

Price is USD 419.99 and there's a 10% pre-order discount that brings the price down to USD 377..99.

For the full specifications, visit the product page.

By the way, I've no idea why this is called gen 2 because I don't recall them releasing a 14-inch pen display ever.

XPPen Deco Pro (gen 2)

The second product released is the Deco Pro (gen 2). This pen tablet will also be using the new pen and support 16K pressure levels.

This pen display comes in the following sizes:

  • 9 x 6 inches - USD 139.99
  • 11 x 7 inches - USD 169.99
  • 15 x 9 inches - USD 199.99

The largest pen tablet measures 15 by 9 inches (17.5-inch diagonal) and is bigger than the 13.6 by 8.5-inch Huion Inspiroy Giano G930L and 13.8 by 8.6-inch Huion Giano WH1409.

XPPen ACK05 wireless shortcut remote

Lastly there's this little XPPen ACK05 Wireless Shortcut Remote that was released. Price is USD 49.99 and this is included with the Artist Pro 14 and Deco Pro (gen 2).

This shortcut remote has 10 shortcut buttons and a dial. There is USB-C charging for the rechargeable battery that's rated for 300 hours. This looks like a sleeker upgraded from the XPPen AC19 Shortcut Remote.
