Instructions for getting remote working with Wacom tabs.
"I was looking for nice remote to replace my Wacom one that goes to sleep too often, as the Xencelabs can be configured to never sleep, and it has that beautiful LCD display telling what the buttons do.

This listing states that it does not work with Wacom tablets, while a Xencelabs rep on Twitter assured me that it does. It does, but unfortunately their driver installer installed *both* their remote *and* tablet drivers, breaking pressure sensitivity on the Wacom.

There is a fix though. If you go to “Program Files/Xencelabs/64/“ and run “remove_hiddriver.bat” it will remove the tablet driver. After a reboot my Wacom was still broken, so I reinstalled the Wacom driver as well, and now both devices are working together wonderfully!! I have reported this info back to Xencelabs and hopefully they can improve their driver installer to avoid this in the future.

All things considered, I’m very happy with the remote. The build quality is nice and it feels solid to work with. The dial rotates effortlessly, and the buttons have a nice click to them. 5-star for the product. 5 star for the config utility, and 1 star for the driver installer. I hope that improves in the future, but for now at least you can work around it."
