If it's a sable brush, it's a good quality brush.
There are different types of sable brushes though, like Kolinsky sable, Red sable, mixed sable (from male and female hairs).
Kolinsky sable, such as the one used in the Escoda Reserva, is the best because it has the sharpest point among the three. The other sable brushes also have the same sable characteristics such as water holding capacity and the ability to spring back to shape, just that the point is not quite as pin point sharp as Kolinsky sable.
