I have the 2020 Huion Kamvas 13 and found that Thunderbolt 3 cables work very well with it and the Kamvas 12. I suspect it will work with the 16 4k.
As you might know Huion made the USB C port very small, making it limited to mostly their own USB cable. So I tested out ~ 12 various cables to find one that would fit into the very small tablet port.
I found 1 thunderbolt 3 cable that will fit into the port. It is very tight but it will go fully in and out w some moderate force. I suspect with some light sanding it would fit much better. They offer a 2m version.
I have been testing the Kamvas 13 with my Mac mini M1 and most of the time it seems to work fine. There is still some occasional problems when it is connected that cause my main screen and the Kamvas to be distorted when waking from sleep. That is solved by unplug/replug the cable.
Huion has not been very responsive for this issue so far.
