At 10.5-inches, the iPad Pro cannot play 1440P videos. It can only play 1080P videos scaled up. Videos are still going to look sharp but not as sharp compared to Tab S4, relatively speaking.
File storage on iOS is dumb. To watch your movies, you have to upload your movie files into the storage of the specific video playing app you use. You can't just upload the movie files into some folder and play with whatever apps you have because those apps don't have access to iOS storage. And you need to open iTunes to transfer the files.
File storage on Android is just like any other computer. You have the files in storage and you can use any video player to find and play those files. And you can transfer files from computer (Windows/Mac) to tablet easily. Just connect via cable and it's like connecting an external storage.
iPad Pro 2017 is marketed as having HDR but I can't see the HDR quality. I compared it to an actual HDR screen and the iPad Pro 2017 screen just looks like a typical IPS-panel LCD screen. Colours are good, but definitely not HDR.
