Book Review: The World's Best Stereograms. Honest!

The World's Best Stereograms. Honest! is a collection of 80 stereograms created by artists Gene Levine and Gary Priester who have been making 3D art since the 1990s.

A reader actually suggested that I review this book and I must say I'm quite hesitate because I have never been able to see the 3D visuals from stereograms, until now.

This book has a few pages on training your eye to see the 3D visuals and the instructions actually work.

With my "new eyes", I was able to see what this whole stereogram thing is all about and I'm impressed. Some of the artworks in this book actually look fun. Being able to finally see the 3D visuals is certainly quite satisfying. When you see the 3D visuals, you can also make them move by moving your head.

I wonder how the artists actually created those artworks. They must have been experts at switching the "mode" of their eyes. Laughs.

This is a fun book. It's not too expensive. Could be worth a purchase.

To see the stereograms, you have to focus behind the images. It's like when you're looking at yourself in the mirror, you're not actually looking at the surface of the mirror.
