Today I visited Bynd Artisan, the makers of The Perfect Sketchbook, the sketchbook that was launched with the help of Kickstarter and backers all over the world.

The Perfect Sketchbook has already all been made and mailed out already thanks to Erwin.

Today's event is the Launch of Bynd Artisan x Erwin Lian Capsule (The Perfect Sketchbook + HDB painting series).

Grandluxe Private Limited is the parent company. I've actually reviewed a few Grandluxe items before.

They sell a lot of notebooks, paper related items.

The quality of their products are quite good. As for their sketchbooks, I don't like them as much compared to other brands.

These are paintings by Erwin.

There are 20 limited edition leather bound Perfect Sketchbooks selling for $200 each. Proceeds will be donated to the Taman Jurong CCC Community Development and Welfare Fund. Each sketchbook has a different hand-drawn painting by Erwin.

I've to say that it's quite an expensive sketchbook even in its non-limited edition. That's SGD $40, or USD $30 if you get it from their website. It measures 9 by 14cm. The paper uses Saunders 100% cotton watercolour paper which means it's off white.

One of the cool things at Bynd Artisan is you can customise your own notebook.

Every aspect of the notebook can be customised. The ring binding, the covers, inner covers, paper, colour of the rubber band, and everything that's used to make the sketchbook. You choose what you want and the staff will make the notebook on the spot.

You can choose the emboss the cover of your customised notebook with your name as well.
