The exhibition will run until Sunday, 21 Dec 2014. On display and for sale are the paintings and drawing he created while studying fine art in Italy for the last 18 months. It's an intensive art course that starts from 9am to 9pm. Wow! Of course, mad skills don't come from just talent.
Here are some photos from the opening night just now.
The usual gang of sketchers having a gathering at The Fabulous Baker Boys just beside the exhibition space.
That's Alvin on the right.
This piece is incredibly 3D like. Amazing.
Alvin will be releasing a new sketchbook called Ciao Firenze! soon. He's taking pre-orders. SGD $20 is around US$16 currently. Not sure how much the shipping is going to cost. You can contact Alvin for enquires.
Below are some page previews. It's a good sketchbook. His first sketchbook was Thirty Days on the Camino.
How I wish I could stay in Italy for that long a period to just sketch.
