Abhishek Singh is an Indian artist known for his unique art direction and storytelling that myths, folklore and spirituality. I could still recall the sense of amazement when I first saw the breathtaking art from his graphic novel Krishna: A Journey Within which was published in 2012.

Namaha is a book of short stories inspired by ancient wisdom literature of India. These are, as the title suggests, stories from the land of gods and goddesses. These are stories of spirituality that are heavily influenced by Indian mythology. That shouldn't be too difficult to guess by looking at the cover art of what/who may seem like an Indian god.

The drawings and character designs are wonderful. Abhishek Singh has managed to capture the mystical and mysterious nature of Indian gods and mythology. The artistic style this time is more loose and sketchy compared to what you see in Krishna: A Journey Within. The use of traditional media and textures work well for this subject matter.

Namaha is a beautiful, creative and imaginative work. Check it out if you can.
