Don was born in Bountiful, Utah. He studied art and illustration at Utah State University, the Illustration Academy, and most recently as Syracuse University. He is an illustrator and educator and teaches illustration at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. He has just illustrated his first book, You Can't Go to School Naked.
