Volume 2 of How to Draw Manga: Sketching Manga-Style deals with proportions for figure drawing. The instructor is Hikaru Hayashi.
There are 184 pages in total. Similar to volume 1 in presentation, the pages are filled with sketches, drawing tips with occasional step-by-step photo demonstrations. You'll learn the various head-to-body ratio and when they are used, how they are drawn, stylizing them for manga purposes and a bit on character design.
Much of examples featured are using the manga proportions, that from 1:2 to 1:7 ratio. That's from the super chibi to the usual height you see in anime.
The book feels very comprehensive and is great for beginners - those with basic figure drawing and anatomy knowledge will benefit more.
