This book is authored by Michel Lauricella, an art instructor with more than 2 decades of teaching morphology.

"Morphology" is a term preferred over "anatomy" by Dr Paul Richer, author of New Artistic Anatomy, because he believed the term was more about aesthetics and the form as a whole rather than medicine and its individual details.

This book in essence is a figure drawing book. This book kinda reminds me of Andrew Loomis' Figure Drawing for All Its Worth. The difference is in this book there's more breakdown into the different parts of the body, muscles, bone structure and how the different parts work together.

There are many illustrated examples of anatomy from different angles and the body in different poses to show how the form of muscle change. There's not much text but whenever there is, the text is insightful and talks about things you should know when it comes to drawing the said part.
