January 2016 Reviews Round-up

First month of 2016 is over so fast. Actually I can say that for every month. When you're busy, time flies. These are the artbooks reviewed this month.

My favourites would be Drawn: The Art of Ascent and The Art of Magic: the Gathering: Zendikar. Jeremy Collin's Drawn is such an absorbing travelogue that I read it in one sitting. I just like the idea of traveling and drawing — having two adventures at the same time.

Youtube

At the time of this writing, I have 7,675 subscribers on my Youtube channel. That has increased from 6,000 last month. So exciting. Based on the last few months, I seem to get getting about 1,500 subscribers every month.

But it takes tremendous effort to get those subscribers. This month, I made so many videos. And it's such a challenge to keep up to making a video every day. Even if you have the will, sometimes you just don't have an idea.

Another interesting thing is most subscribers are not Parkablogs readers. I probably said that somewhere else. So if you're reading this and have not subscribed, and if you like sketching, check out my channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/teohyc
