My favourite art books of

My favourite art books of 2014 are:
The Art of Ian Miller - This book just blew me away. The detail in the drawings is incredible and pushes the boundaries of what I previously thought possible in pen and ink work. The subject matter is slightly disturbing, but also compelling to look at. I always know when a book hits the mark by my emotional response to the work and the enthusiasm it generates in me to try new things
Drawn to Drawing - I love to draw and often thought my work was over detailed, until I saw the work in this book. I am a visual thinker and in my day job have been criticised for doodling in meetings, even though they help me to think. I was interested to read that many of the complex drawings in this book started life as doodles from meetings!
Sketching from the Imagination-fantasy - I loved the first book from the same stable and this is more of the same. I particularly like Kerby Rosannes, so was really pleased to see his incredible work featured in this book.
