Adventure Time - The Art of Ooo: An art book stack full of content, including concept art, doodles, storyboards, preliminary designs, fascinating commentary from creator Pen Ward and his team. It’s a compendium worthy of the Land of Ooo (the ‘Adventure Time Bible’). Definitely my pick of the year!

POSTERS - Otomo Katsuhiro x Graphic Design:
A huge (literally) book filled with film posters from Otomo Katsuhiro. Beautiful if you’re a fan of Japanese commercial film posters or graphic design. The book’s large scale translates the grandeur of each film, with gorgeous artwork splashing over sprawling A3 pages. But beware - after flipping through, you might want binge-watch the movies!

The Art of Neil Gaiman: This book offers a fascinating insider’s look (a window) into author Neil Gaiman’s thought processes, journal scribblings and concept sketches, showing you the skeletons of his ideas before they were fully formed. When an artbook inspires you not to give up on your own creative journey, that’s when it’s a real gem!

(Thanks for the chance! Love the blog, it's my art-book go-to).
