Kurt grew up in Portland, Oregon, attended the Burnley School for Professional Art in Seattle, and is now an illustrator and teaches drawing and illustration at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland. Mark grew up in Upstate New York outside Albany in the hamlet of Elsmere. He has an associate's degree in advertising design and production from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York, and a BA in graphic design from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York. Barry grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, still lives in Cleveland, and hopes to die somewhere besides Cleveland. He received a BFA in painting from Bowling Green State University. He illustrates children's books, writes and draws greeting cards, and raids the refrigerator from his home studio.
