Sample nibs provided by Huion
Huion has released new felt pen nibs PN05F for the PW517 pen that comes with some of their pen displays and tablets. Huion may release new pens in the future so it's always best to check their website for pen compatibility with these nibs.
These nibs are sold separately and do not come with the pen displays and tablets.
Price is US $9.99 for 10 nibs which is a very reasonable price.
Texture on the felt nibs definitely feels rougher compared to the plastic nib.
The pen is still sensitive and accurate, except now the tactile experience is more obvious. It feels very similar to drawing with a felt tip marker or multiliner on paper except there's no wet ink. In short, the drawing experience is excellent with these felt nibs.
If you have the Huion PW517 pen, this is a must-buy.
5 out 5 stars.
You can find the Huion felt nib on Huion's webstore.

How durable would you say

How durable would you say they feel? I wonder if they wear down too fast.

I've a feeling they may wear down faster since there's more friction. But since it's just US $10 for 10 pieces, it shouldn't be a problem. Just hope they don't wear down one nib per month.
Hi and thank you for this

Hi and thank you for this review. Now I have second thoughts about selling my Kamvas 16 (2021)...
Questions:
1. If compared to Wacom, do these nibs feel more like Wacom's 'felt nibs' or 'hard felt
nibs'? I'm asking because from what I heard, the ones that give the "paper like" feel (and yeah I know it's not exactly like paper, hence the apostrophes), are the hard felt and not the felt nibs. I use my Kamvas for writing, not art, so the textured feel is extremely important to me.
2. Do these nibs wear out easily, compared to the regular ones?
Tanks in advance.
P.S. It would be nice if you made a video about these nibs, and show how they sound when using them.

I've not tried the Wacom felt nib so I can't say much.
The thing is even with typical plastic nibs on matte glass/screen protector, the paper-like feel is not exactly paper-like.
These Huion felt nibs feel very much like using a felt-tip pen or marker on actual paper. You'll hear the sound too.
As for them wearing out. They may wear out faster since here's no more friction. But since it's just US $10 for ten pieces, them wearing out faster is not a big issue.
I've made a video review but it's not up yet and will be up in a few days time at on my Youtube channel
