James grew up in the heart of New Jersey, received a BFA from The School of Visual Arts in New York and currently lives in Los Angeles where he is an artist and illustrator. His work has been collected in two volumes called ProcessRecess, and can also be seen at www.processrecess.com, www.politewinter.com, and www.jamesjean.com.
