Are there any vaguely serious watercolour artists anywhere that would rather have 48 half pans than 24 full pans? Full pans >> half pans. 24 colours >> 48 colours. Seems that Gallo's target market is non-artists buying paint sets as presents for artists - they're the only people that I can think of getting excited at the prospect of 48 colours.
