I have a mixture of brands in my travel palette including Windsor newton, Daniel smith, sennelier and schminke.
I have found that the sennelier tubes poured into pans do dry out they just take longer and I have not had any problems using them in my travel palette. The only colours I have had an issue with not drying are the sennelier tube of Caput Mortum which is an unusual colour anyway and I had a serious issue with Jackson’s own brand burnt umber which had more binder than pigment…that really was messy! It was so bad I haven’t bought any more Jackson’s own brand paints.
