Take and Make Art is a useful compilation of stock art compiled by Von Glitschka. The artworks are drawn by the author and several other artists.
This is basically the catalog of vector art that you can download from the book's website. The files seems to be created in Adobe Illustrator CS6, I'm using CS5 and can still open them. I would advise you to check whether your version of Illustrator can open the newer files.
The artworks are not your typical clipart but are more cartoony. They look quite good and I can see myself using some of them on my website to accompany articles to make them more pleasing visually. The artworks are all rendered in black and white but as vector illustrations you can change their colour easily.
Several artists are featured showing examples of how they used the artworks in real life, such as for designing T-shirts, namecards or as product packaging, etc.
The artworks are under a royalty-free license. That means you can use it for whatever you want except for commercial purposes.
It's a good resource for those looking for good looking illustrations on a limited budget. The book's also available in Kindle format.
